Bascule bridge. Work in progress!

The students of 3rd level of ESO in the Technology classes are assembling a mechanical bascule bridge. We started this ambitious project last September and we hope to finish it next May.

In this project, we are learning how to mount the main wood structure, the automatic lighting and the movements of rising and lowering the footbridge. Among screwdrivers, clamps, files and pliers we are growing our bridge.
